Viva Vivaldi! A glorious evening of music from Vivaldi’s Venice in the beautiful setting of Bristol Cathedral.

The Venetian vitality of the famous setting of the Gloria is set in the context of other musical gems written for the orphans of the Ospedale della Pietà – a tender, impassioned Kyrie (RV 587) and the glorious double-choir and double-orchestra Dixit Dominus (RV 594).

Completing this feast of vivacious Vivaldi, Roger Huckle and the Bristol Ensemble perform a seasonal offering from his most famous work with ‘summer’ from The Four Seasons.
